Introduction
Welcome to the Land on the north side of London Road Website relating to the proposed development on the land to the north of London Road Chipping Norton. The website will focus on the work to date and future timeline to deliver up to 350 new dwellings on the land highlighted in red including:
- New vehicular and pedestrian access points
- .New active travel routes
- Surface-water drainage basins.
- Landscaping and associated infrastructure
- High quality public open spaces
- Diverse mix of housing types and tenures
It should be noted that this application will form part of a wider low carbon residential development area for at least 700 new homes.
The land to the east of the Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) site is owned by Rainier, who have developed their own proposals on this land. Each site will have a separate planning application, but a co-ordinated approach has been taken by both parties.
Please note that this consultation only looks at the land owned by OCC and not the Rainer land.
